Amanda Brugel

(February 27th, 2010 - Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a sleepy community on this part of the island of Montreal that is known as"the West Island. It is the West Island, to those who are unfamiliar with it, is a vast region that runs from Lachine all the way west. Amanda Brugel grew up on this island, and it is frequently referred to as her birthplace. It is true that she resided there for a very short duration. Brugel was raised in Courtice close to Oshawa. Over the past 20 years, her roles on television and the big screen have been numerous. The role of Rita from the award winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most memorable. Brugel is the only Canadian actress in the season 1 which was viewed only at times.
